Super Easy PJ Pants

I finished Emmie's jammy pants today. I was shocked at how easy they were to make but I wasn't totally pleased with the fit. They are HUGE! Still totally wearable, just lots of room for growth. I usually take a lot of time when I sew. I don't look at the clock and I seem to enjoy it so much more that way. These couldn't have taken much more than an hour.

Busy as a bee ...

I finally finished the holiday swap so I can get started on some other projects now. I finished my vintage deer last night and they're so cute! I can't wait to frame it.

I also got a bit of work done on Emmie's pj pants and I'm hoping to have those finished up tomorrow.

Yay! It's Christmas Time ...

I'm so relieved that Thanksgiving is over. It's my least favorite holiday.

I swear one day I will get some pictures of my recent projects up. I have been quite busy. I'm crafting for a swap and I have decided to make most of my Christmas gifts this year.

I discovered some wonderful tutorials on http://www.sewmamasew.com/blog2/ and I have already made some things.

The coasters are wonderful and I think that those will make great teacher gifts. I'm also trying to knock out some pajama pants as well.

I made the cutest magnets last night. I was a bit bored and uninspired so I grabbed some buttons to cover, scraps, magnets and my trusty glue gun and came out with these little cuties...

I suppose I will try to get a few more things accomplished tonight.

Long day ...

So I spent the better part of today on a particular item that has been giving me fits for a swap I'm doing. It turned out okay. It's not my usual standards as some of the seam allowances are a little wonky but I think it's alright. It was first attempt at bias tape and will probably be my last. Still it looks great.

Here are the other items I sent as well

Why I'm Here ...

I have never been a huge fan of blogs. They always seemed so egocentric. Lately, I have stumbles upon a lot of blogs that the wonderful members of www.Craftster.org have and I truly enjoy reading those. It's so interesting to see what people are creating so I decided that I would get one as well.

My main goal of this blog is to share completed and current projects. I also will try to post patterns or transfers I have to share with others. Please drop a line to say hi or leave some feedback!
